Trust & transparency
You are being asked to share a draft that may contain personal experience. Before you do, you should be able to inspect how the score is built, how the essay is processed and what this tool cannot do.
Scores come from our own writing rubric. They are not official admissions ratings and do not predict admission.
Evaluation methodology
The six dimensions, the weights by essay type, the 100-point calculation, evidence requirements and score bands.

Contact usWhat we will not claim
Trust is easier to verify when a company states its limits. These are ours.
- We do not claim former admissions officers on staff, an external advisory board, university partnerships or institutional endorsement.
- We do not publish fabricated testimonials, student names, admission results or success statistics.
- We do not claim that a score predicts admission, and we do not sell an “admission probability” product.
- We do not claim to detect AI-written essays. AI detectors produce false positives and do not prove authorship.
- We do not change a score because a user has paid. Free and paid reviews use the same rubric and the same calculation.
- We do not sell personal information. The essay is processed by a third-party AI provider; the privacy policy explains exactly what that means.
Current review status
The rubric is internally developed. It has not yet been reviewed by an external advisory panel. We do not have former admissions officers on staff, and we do not claim a university partnership.
We have checked the prompt and word-limit rules against the official Common App and University of California pages, and we separate those rules from our own rubric. A link to an official source does not imply endorsement.
When an external review is completed, we will publish the reviewer’s verified background, the sections reviewed and the date. We will not publish placeholder profiles.
AI provider disclosure
Reviews are generated through DeepSeek’s API. DeepSeek’s privacy policy states that it may use inputs to improve and train its models, retains data as necessary and processes data in China. We do not use your essay to train our own models, and we do not sell it. Do not submit information you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider. The privacy policy explains the processing in full.
